Abstract

viii ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh modal intelektual terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan kinerja keuangan sebagai variabel intervening pada industri perbankan Indonesia yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode 2015-2017. Modal intelektual diukur dengan menggunakan Value Added Intellectual Coefficient (VAIC). Nilai perusahaan diukur dengan Tobin’s Q, sedangkan kinerja keuangan diukur dengan Return on Assets (ROA). Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 29 perusahaan yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modal intelektual berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja keuangan, modal intelektual tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan, kinerja keuangan tidak berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan, dan terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung modal intelektual terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan kinerja keuangan sebagai variabel intervening. Kata kunci : Modal Intelektual, Nilai Perusahaan, Kinerja Keuangan. ix ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the effect of intellectual capital on firm value with financial performance as an intervening variable in the Indonesian banking industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2015-2017. Intellectual capital is measured using Value Added Intellectual Coefficient (VAIC). Company value is measured by Tobin’s Q, while financial performance is measured by Return on Assets (ROA). The sample used in this study were 29 companies selected through purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that intellectual capital has a positive effect on financial performance, intellectual capital does not affect the value of the company, financial performance does not affect the value of the company, and there is an indirect influence of intellectual capital on firm value and financial performance as an intervening variable.
