Abstract

ii ABSTRAK Pendidikan adalah hal yang penting bagi setiap orang. Keberhasilan mahasiswa dalam proses belajar mengajar dapat dilihat dari prestasi akademiknya. Prestasi akademik dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal seperti motivasi dan perilaku belajar serta faktor eksternal seperti social skill. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh social skill terhadap prestasi akademik, yang kedua untuk megetahui pengaruh motivasi terhadap prestasi akademik dan yang ketiga untuk mengetahui pengaruh perilaku belajar terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa manajemen Universitas Muhammaddiyah Malang angkatan 2013. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari 80 responden melalui kuesioner. Teknik pengambilan sampe yakni dengan Proporsional Random Sampling. Analisis data menggunakan progam SPSS versi 21. Uji yang dilakukan antara lain uji instrumen penelitian, uji normalitas, uji asumsi klasik dan regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa social skill, motivasi dan perilaku belajar berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa manajemen Universitas Muhammaddiyah Malang angkatan 2013. Kata kunci : social skill, motivasi, perilaku belajar, prestasi akademik ABSTRACT Education is important for everyone. The success of students in the learning process can be seen from his academic achievement. Academic achievement can be influenced by internal factors such as motivation and learning behavior as well as external factors such as social skills. This study aims to determine the effect of social skills on academic achievement, secondly to know the influence of motivation on academic achievement and the third to know the influence of learning behavior toward academic achievement of student management of University of Muhammaddiyah Malang generation 2013. The type of this research is quantitative research using primary data obtained from 80 respondents through questionnaire. Sampling technique that is with Proportional Random Sampling. Data analysis using SPSS program version 21. Test conducted among other test instrument research, test of normality, test of classical assumption and multiple linear regression. Based on the results of research and data analysis, it can be concluded that social skills, motivation and learning behavior have a significant effect partially on the achievement of student academics of Universitas Muhammaddiyah Malang generation 2013.
