Abstract

ABTRAKSI Metode mengajar sebagai alat untuk meningkatkan motivasi serta mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang diinginkan. Metode mengajar KBK menumbuhkan motivasi mahasiswa untuk memecahkan masalah dengan atau tanpa didampingi dosen. Metode Non KBK cenderung menurunkan motivasi mahasiswa dengan pembelajaran bersifat hafalan. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari perbandingan antara motivasi belajar mahasiswa mengenai metode mengajar KBK dan Non KBK pada mahasiswa regular IV program studi akuntansi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua mahasiswa regular IV sebanyak 411 orang, dari jumlah tersebut dijadikan sampel sebanyak 80 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji independent sample t test, pengambilan data dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Setelah dilakukan uji independent sample t test terdapat perbedaan antara motivasi belajar mahasiswa mengenai metode mengajar KBK dan Non KBK. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode pembelajaran KBK yang menekankan pada pencapaian kompetensi mahasiswa baik individu maupun kelompok dan mahasiswa lebih aktif mencari informasi serta mencoba untuk membahas dan memecahkan masalah dengan atau tanpa didampingi dosen dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa . Kata Kunci : Motivasi belajar, Metode mengajar KBK dan Non KBK ABSTRACTION Teaching methods as a tool to increase motivation and achieve the desired learning objectives. KBK teaching method fosters student motivation to solve problems with or without assistant lecturers. Non KBK methodology tends to decrease student motivation by learning memorizing. The purpose of this study is to find a comparison between student learning motivation about teaching methods of KBK and Non KBK in regular student IV accounting study program. Population in this study are all 411 regular student IV, of which the sample used as much as 80 respondents. This study uses independent sample t test, taking data by using questionnaire. After the independent sample t test was conducted there is a difference between student learning motivation about teaching methods of KBK and Non KBK. Based on this research, it can be caoncluded that KBK learning method which emphasizes on the achievement of student competence both individual and group and student more actively seek information and try to discuss and solve problems with or without assistant lecturer can improve student’s learning motivation.
